Adolf Hitler in World War 1

Everybody knows who Adolf Hitler was, but not a lot of people know that he actually served in the German military during WWI. Adolf joined at the age of 25. his regiment was estimated that 2,500 to 3,000 of them were killed or injured, but Hitler came out of the war without a single scratch! Luck was always on his side, because he would always move to a different spot where eventually an artillery shell would explode. He served as a dispatch runner, giving messages back and forth to commanders. His hate for Jews grew as he lived in a anti-war conspiracy world. Closer to the end, he recieved the Iron Cross 1st Class, but soon turned depressed when the moral of the front was low. on October 1918, he was blinded by a British chlorine gas attack near Ypres. A pastor gave him the bad news that the war was over, and that his home land was now turned into a republic.
