MY THOUGHTS REGARDING GUADALCANAL.
Being surrounded in an island, no food, ammunition, and pretty much no moral support, your mind will go insane, thats would mine would do. Arrive Guadalcanal was a relief for the marines but soon figured that they where all alone. They thaught each other how to survive and protect themselves. With that one incident with going to the bathroom and shooting their own guy, it made them realize that they need to focus more as a group than an individuals. They also taught each other to be slick and sly when coming around an enemy. it also taught them to think like the enemy and be aware of what might come ahead.

The Gulag.
Gulag is, in a sense, the Soviet's hell hole. This environment was the Soviets forced labor camps. They were located mainly in remote regions of Siberia and the Far North. The man of steel used this to his advantage during the 1930's to punish people who didn't obey his law. The Gulag first purpose was a prison for murderers, thieves, and other criminals. Life in the gulag was very rough, and very harsh. there was a ration of food, clothing, and supplies. It wasn't a very pleasant work area to be in. When Stalin died in 1953, the Gulag population decreased dramatically, and the conditions improved.

Benito Mussolini's Death.

The first thing that popped in my head when we started talking about Benito Mussolini, was how he died. It was during Topics last year, with my boiii Mckenna and he showed the class the aftermath of the war and how the dictational rule came to an end, and he explained how Mussolini was hung facing down with six other black shirt officers. Mussolini is the one in the middle. This is just to show how the Italians really hated Benito. There's another picture thats really disturbing about him, but if you want to see it, just google image, "benito mussolini's death" and its the colored picture. It's nasty!

Why did Germany go to such lengths to destroy British power?
Germany had a lot obstacles in its path for world domination, and Great Britain was the gauntlet. Great Britain was the most powerful naval fleet in its time, and Germany's only way to transport its havoc, was by shipment. Germany had a hard time stopping its foe, and always got let down. Britain was just to advance for them. Britain also had many countries under its name, and they could call many men in those countries and the numbers would rock Germany's number anytime.
Global War.

Weapons in WWI
World War I was the war where everything changed from tactics, clothing, and the most important thing in battle, weapons. Each nation built and created their own style of weaponry for different situation. The most well known, common weapon is the Gewehr 98 riffle with the bayonet. The bayonet played a huge role in close combat battles, and to intimidate the enemy. The 1914 machine gun is a very effective piece of metal. When infantry run into what is known as No Mans Land, the 1914 machine gun will mow down any soul in sight. The machine gun needed four to six soldiers to operate successfully. They would overheat very quickly, so machine gunners would have to rely on air cooling, or water cooling. The mortars was a grenade launcher. It was a very light, easy to take around, and effective launcher. Soldiers can easily carry around to a close enough position to shoot the grenade to its destination.

Creating World War III
There are a lot of essential into creating a sculpture of destruction, such as a world war. First of all, you need a villain who is sick in the mind, and wants to create havoc for all of us. He also needs a country who is in need of a ruler, because their society is in ruins and needs somebody to help them in their need, and they will do anything. Another important factor in making a world war is brainwashing his or her people to hate or envy a race or country who has brought them their grief. Once the leader has established a firm and loyal surroundings, it is time to show the world who's boss. they will cause destruction in sight, wherever they go. World leaders will soon sense that there is a threat in the earth and it must be stopped. Allies will soon form, because of their beliefs in what is right, and what is wrong. You also need a HUGE mass of patriotic individuals, who will fight for their land, knowing that any second they are at the battlefield, they will come closer to death. World wars are known for their massive death tolls. In all, world wars take years to develop, but once it starts, it takes years to build back.
Some of the things that would create one today, is the war in the Middle East. It has all the ingredients in making a catastrophic event. You got countries who have never developed a solid democratic government, which usually creates a radical government ruled by people who have no experience what so ever. It is possible to start a WWIII because you have Russia supplying the Middle East, the US hate Russia, and the UN is in close watch of Isreal, so there is a possibility of another World War.
